Call for Applications: Writing Fellowship in Human Behaviour and Wellness Promotion
The Centre for Behaviour and Wellness Advocacy (Ghana), supported by the Laboratory of Professional and Pedagogical Training (USA), is pleased to announce the first Writing Fellowship Programme in Human Behaviour and Wellness Promotion.
This Fellowship Programme is designed to foster excellence in research synthesis and publication. It offers a unique opportunity for emerging scholars to engage in review projects under the guidance of experienced mentors, leading to the development and publishing of mentored research papers.
About the Fellowship:
The Writing Fellowship is designed to provide participating teams with a structured framework to conduct scoping reviews in eleven (11) specific wellness behaviour research themes. Scoping reviews are essential for mapping the existing literature, identifying research gaps, informing policies, and developing future research questions. This fellowship is a stepping stone for emerging scholars, especially from low- and middle-income countries, who aspire to enhance their research skills, contribute to evidence-based practice, and build a strong foundation for further research.
The total training cost is $2000. However, the Centre for Behaviour and Wellness Advocacy grants a full scholarship to all successful applicants in the first cohort.
Interested applicants are required to form teams of two (2) or three (3) members. The team must submit the following documents:
The application must be submitted electronically as a single document to email@example.com, with copies sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com.
Applications will go through a highly competitive process, resulting in five (5) successful teams emerging as members for the first cohort.
Only short-listed applicants will be contacted within ten (10) days after the deadline.
Application Deadline: Not later than 17:00 GMT, October 19, 2023.
Fellowship Award Announcement: October 29, 2023.
Fellowship Duration: November 01, 2023 to February 01, 2024.
