About the Organisation

The Centre for Behaviour & Wellness Advocacy, LBG (formerly KAD International), is a registered non-governmental organisation in Ghana, West Africa. We are a leading, world-renowned interdisciplinary Centre for expertise in human behaviour and wellness research, training, and consultancy.

Research

We conduct cutting-edge theoretical, methodological, and practical studies to improve the understanding of behaviour and how to change it to improve health and wellness in human populations. With an interdisciplinary approach, our research examines a variety of behavioural contexts like occupational health and safety, mental health, community health, physical health, education, advocacy and policy.

Our research areas for 2022-2032 include evidence synthesis, social and behaviour change, psychosocial epidemiology, mental health disparities, community health, patient safety and treatment outcomes, prevention and early intervention, climate change and health, occupational health and safety, non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases, and strengthening health systems.

We also conduct research across all developmental stages and people with research agendas targeting themes in the Sustainable Development Goals. Our journal - Journal of Advocacy, Research and Education, supported by Cherkas Global University Press (Washington, District of Columbia), is one of the fastest-growing blind peer-reviewed journals.
